Welcome !  The health & fitness sector in Europe serves over 40 million consumers, generates 22 billion Euro in revenues, employs 390 000 people, and consists of 40 000 facilities. 

EHFA, the European Health & Fitness Association, is a not-for-profit organization representing both the public and private fitness sector in Brussels with the European Union and other international organisations.  With its objective to get “More people, More active, More often”, EHFA is looking for possibilities to cooperate with organizations that promote physical activity in Europe.   EHFA is also a standards setting body of the health and fitness sector and promotes best practice in instruction and training, with the ultimate objective to raise the quality of service and the customers exercise experience and results.  EHFA currently represents approx. 10 000 facilities and 18 national associations spread across 25 countries in Europe.  Membership is open to all stakeholders - public or private - including operators, suppliers, national associations, training providers, higher education and accreditation institutions. 

EHFA fully supports the strategic principles and objectives of the EU Lifelong Learning Programme.
