The ESDRM is a higher education school that graduate sport technicians in several professional areas, including health and fitness. The ESDRM organise specialist courses and continuing education courses for sport professionals, in Sport Coaching, Sport and Exercise Psychology, Sport and Active Tourism, Sport Management and Fitness and Health in Sport. The ESDRM is primarily an educational higher institution and is working closely with the other higher education establishments in Portugal and the rest of Europe to develop high quality training programmes.

The bachelor in Fitness and Health in Sport provide a graduation of sport technicians specialized in the activities of the Fitness area, in group, individual and personal training, in fitness assessment and exercise prescription, in physical activity and health promotion programs, for special populations and for apparently health individuals, and also in technical management.
