Paolo A. ADAMI

Born in Rome in 1944 where his resides with his wife and his son. He holds dual Italian and US citizenship. He served in the army as Officer in the Alpine Corps reaching the rank of Major. Graduated in Business Administration and Management, he has worked on both sides of the Atlantic ocean for almost 20 years in management and executive positions in the field of logistics and distribution. Fond of his mountain climbing and skiing hobbies and holding the title of Expert on Snow Avalanches, he retired young enough to enjoy 5 years as instructor and chief of a Delegation of the National Mountain Rescue Service.

Paolo got involved with the fitness sector thanks to his wife’s technical role and experience within the international movement. In 1990 he was a founding member of the Italian Aerobic & Fitness Federation, were he still serves as president. Being a journalist, he has dedicated his time and passion to the development and promotion of the politics of fitness. Through his lobbying and public relations activities, the federation has achieved the rank of institutional body for the Italian fitness sector.

  • Promoter with the National Union of Family Doctors and coordinator of the Unitarian Table for implementation of Quality Standards in the Italian Fitness Centres;
