The secretariat was the association's point of contact for members, for the European institutions and for anyone asking about its programme - the standards, accreditation, the register and the EU-funded projects.

Questions about the occupational standards, how they were written and what they covered, belong with the standards material in this section of the site, which sets out the framework and the council that maintained it.

Questions about accreditation - which programmes were recognised, what evidence a provider had to produce and how the assessment worked - are answered on the accreditation pages, including the questions applicants asked most often.

Enquiries about EREPS, the European Register of Exercise Professionals, are covered by the register pages, which describe what registration meant, how national registers worked with it and who regulated it.
