Events
EHFA's event channel recorded the meetings the association ran itself: its annual general assembly, the European Fitness Forum, the National Associations Forum, the Executive Leadership Forum and the closing conference of the EA-Fitness project. The archive holds seven notices, running from the first European meeting of national associations in August 2008 to the fourth Executive Leadership Forum in Barcelona in June 2011.
The events were the point at which the association's work stopped being a document. Standards drafted by the Technical Experts Group and approved by the Standards Council had to be explained and defended to the operators, training providers and national associations that would apply them, and the meetings in this channel are where that happened.

The event programme
Three of the notices belong to the European Fitness Forum series, which met in Hilversum in 2008, Prague in 2009 and Madrid in 2010; the series is set out on the fitness forums page, and the third forum has a page of its own. Two belong to the Executive Leadership Forum, the meeting of the sector's chief executives, first convened in 2009 and reconvened in Barcelona in 2011. The annual general assembly appears here as well, and in 2010 the EA-Fitness project closed with a conference at which its occupational standards were presented.
The London Summit of November 2010 was the most public of these meetings. The European Commission took part, the findings of the Becoming the Hub project were released there, and the sector used the occasion to make its public pledge on physical activity. Trade shows and other events that were not the association's own sat on the industry calendar.
